What a great atmosphere down at the Tower Arms in South Weald, Brentwood, Essex.

Every Wednesday night they have been holding a talent competition and I have got through to the semi-finals. The first prize is £1,000.00. Not bad eh! althugh I think the Mrs has spent it already. Seriously though the heats have had some really good talent young and old, singers mainly but the odd musician, rapper, comedian so I feel priviledged to get through. So pop down there for a relaxed friendly night and give us a cheer. Semi-finals in a couple of weeks time.

No not me, I am talking about a public house I am singing at on Friday 8th October.

It has just been all refurbished by the new landlords Rick and Tony, so I am launching their new look.  They serve delicious homemade food and are very accommodating to any age. Real Ales are always available and guest ales also served.They had a brand new play area put up in the summer and the gardens are blooming. I will be singing there about 9pm so come and have a meal first then join in the fun. All the regulars are looking forward to it, so am I.

What a great holiday camp. There was something for everyone all day long from babies to grandmums. The entertainment at night was fantastic as good as anything you would see in London variety shows. I entered the ‘Potters got Talent’ mainly because the stage and accoustics is so professional. They asked me back up on stage to sing ‘My Way’ to close their professional show, I was so chuffed. The final is 2nd December, but my family and myself would go back there anytime, the food accomodation and friendliness of all the staff was first class. Try it!

Phew! what a summer.  I have been so busy for the last 2 months I havent had time to update you all.  Venues old and new including Bar Avenue - Chingford, Royal Oak - Stapleford Abbotts, Ashwells - Brentwood, The Ship - Gidea Park and various anniversarys and parties have kept me busy. I also entered ’Potters got Talent’ on a weekend break there. Waiting to hear, the final is 2nd December, I would book now it is great for adults and family. I have also been singing at The Tower Arms in South Weald Essex. Tuesday and Wednesday are their nights for music. Hope to see you there.

You must visit The Four Seasons Hotel near Hook in Hampshire.  What a fabulous venue for that special occasion.  I sang at a wedding there and had to stay for the weekend. (Shame but someones gotta do it) It was lovely, clay pidgeon shooting, we took bikes out along the canal, the scenery was fantastic. The wedding was lovely and the local church where it was held was so picturesque. Take a look for yourselves, what a lovely job!!!!!!

How about that, was performing my regular slot last saturday at Bar Avenue, Hyams Park. Great crowd and a lot of fun, even got offered a job in a hotel in Thailand (why my wife so excited!!).

Have to see what happens when I come back from spain in couple of weeks. Doing a few bars out here, its roasting!

Hi there, yep what a great night Saturday evening was. It was a surprise 40th birthday at Bar Avenue, 3 The Avenue, Highams Park, London E4 9LB and everyone loved it including me.

The crowd were brilliant and the owner has offered me a regular slot every fortnight.

So I would definitely recommend the bar and the happy crowd for a relaxed Saturday evening with a song.
